APHCA Puts Antimicrobial Use in Livestock Production and Antimicrobial Resistance on the Agenda

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing global threat across drug classes and around the world. At the upcoming 36th Session of the Animal Production and Health Commission for Asia and the Pacific (APHCA) delegates from more than 15 countries in the Asia-Pacific region will present and review the extent of antimicrobial use in livestock production and AMR in micro-organisms isolated from livestock and livestock products.
