The surprise was how well the Bosch works with small batches. If I had to buy a mixer again in my super small kitchen, I may have bought the Kitchenaid again. My question is… Do you have a recommended place to buy a Bosch from? It could handle more, but I only have 4 loaf pans ;. Another speed was added, while expanding the speed range with a lower low gear and a higher high gear, still including the pulse feature. I do use the paddle for mixing up the various breads and switch to the dough hook for the kneading process. I then bought one for myself at Costco a couple of years ago. Just follow the instructions, add flour until the dough cleans the side of the bowl, and the dough will turn out perfect.
